Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to find a car, book it and manage their hire on our website. This statement explains what we do to make the site accessible, what we know isn't right yet, and how to get help.

What we do

  • Keyboard access. You can move through menus, forms and the booking steps with a keyboard.
  • Reduced motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, the site's animations are switched off.
  • Readable text. Text is sized for reading on phones, tablets and computers, and you can zoom the page.
  • Text alternatives. Car photos carry descriptions.
  • Clear forms. Each form field has a visible label, and errors are explained in words.
  • Plain language. We explain hiring terms, deposits and documents in plain English.

Known limitations

We haven't yet had the site independently audited against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. Some older pages and documents, such as the PDF of your hire agreement, may not work fully with every screen reader. We're reviewing the site as part of a redesign and will update this statement.

Getting help

If you find any part of the site hard to use, or you need information in a different format, contact us or call our support line, open from 8am to 8pm. We can help you book or manage your hire by phone.

Feedback

Tell us about any accessibility problem you find. Include the page and what you were trying to do, and we'll look into it.
